I would take MtG only for playing big naval Ally yourself (namely US, UK) as it is a lot designed for them(new focus trees as well) and AI manage important aspects poorly.Īs for La Resistance - i did not encountered single bug myself and impact on game balance is huge (in positive way as is no longer so easy just snowball economy gains) but ye, possibly something will be changed and I understand you dont want pay full price tag - if so I would probably skip MtG for now as well and grab both at some discount action later. La resistance is not discounted, so I don't plan to get it right now.also, it's new, so probably full of balance issues and bugs. The cosmetic DLC.well, I plan playing germany so having some more tank models is worth the discounted DLC for me.maybe. Without the DLC you still have the fuel management (which I like a lot, as it is more realistic.I remember that Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe from 1991 already had fuel management in the strategic part). For CK2 I don't have any DLC's, and that's fine also )įor MtG, does it get better without the DLC ? I plan playing a lot solo in historical, so I'd like to have a somewhat competent AI. Well, until now I have only played the base game, that's why I'm asking. So I would probably grab both at once only. La Resistances nicely put it back in balance with resistance and spy bonuses that are sort of Axis nerf. Imho PDX make mistake the introduce new mechanics and features as "free update", while they are actually developed with DLC in mind.įor people like me is as well difficult to properly distinguish in time what was actually added by DLCs and what by free updates (that are also released together)Īs you asked for MtG = it introduced naval rework and fuel great way but sadly with AI handle it bit poorly., resulting in games where Germany roll over all easily as there is not push from Allies at all. I personally dont pay for cosmetic things like that tank packs though as it adds nothing to gameplay to me.
